Hello!
I’m Claire, and I live with my family – both the human and furry kind – in a lovely village just outside Norwich.
For over sixteen years, I worked in local schools supporting children’s social, emotional, and behavioural wellbeing. During that time, I’ve seen how creative approaches can help children make sense of their world in ways that talking alone sometimes can’t.
After far too much reflection, I decided to follow my heart and launch Drawing Comfort in early 2024.

I’m qualified in several therapeutic approaches, but Drawing and Talking (with children, teenagers and adults) – and Sand Play (for younger children) – are the ones that really resonate with me. They offer a calm, imaginative space where participants can explore at their own pace, and I often think how perfect they would’ve been for the wobbles and challenges I’ve experienced in my lifetime.
When I’m not working, you’ll usually find me spending time with family and friends or getting lost in a good book.
I feel very lucky to be able to do work that brings together creativity, compassion, and connection every day.
